I haven't turned it on yet. However, and I'll be honest, I am NOT the mechanical type. So, when I asked the install tech how to ignite the pilot light, I was worried I would forget the instructions. He didn't laugh \- but I deserved it. Now I have peace of mind knowing that the ignite is electrical, and I didn't have to do anything. I guess I could switch the lever to WINTER, over SUMMER, once the snow flies; that's about all I can handle technically. I had a new A/C installed at the same time, and I couldn't be happier that I decided to go with this great upgrade.

This furnace is quiet and powerful. I have a three level split home and the difference between the old and new furnace are dramatically positive. I bought this product in conjunction with a Carrier AC unit. My house has been extremely comfortable since installation. The unit is responsive, quiet and powerful. So far so good after 1 month. :)

Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.

This furnace does not comply with SCAQMD Rule 1111 or SJVAPCD Rule 4905, which places a NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J. Therefore, this unit is not eligible to be installed in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) nor the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD).
