It may be too soon to rate this heating system but so far, I absolutely love it. It replaced my old Rheem heating system after 42 years. This Infinity system is extremely quiet and I cannot tell if it is running or not. The heating system keeps the house comfortable throughout the day and it does not heat beyond the temperature setting or below my temperature setting. I didn't take a look at the warranty yet. I'm just extremely happy with this new system!

So far, we have been satisfied with the furnace. It runs more loudly than we would like, but that may be an issue with the Carrier thermostat we installed at the same time. I have yet to receive the first utility bill since installing the new furnace, so I am unable to comment on its energy efficiency.

Installing the Carrier Infinity 98 propane/ gas furnace was one of the smartest upgrades I have done to my 200 year old log house. It will pay for itself very quickly vs the of oil furnace previously in the house. It is very quiet and accurately controls the temperature of the house. The additional bonus was the amount of useable space we have recovered in the basement by removing the oil furnace and oil tank.

Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.

This furnace does not comply with SCAQMD Rule 1111 or SJVAPCD Rule 4905, which places a NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J. Therefore, this unit is not eligible to be installed in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) nor the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD).
