Our new furnace is quiet. I never hear it run! Great furnace!
Overall good, but noise is irritating

So far, the heating performance is really good. Temperature is maintained much more evenly than our old unit, and the house doesn't seem quite as dry, which is nice. But the absence of noise from airflow is offset by an irritating ringing/droning sound that I originally thought was vehicles outside or even a train. It's actually somewhere in the unit, and is very annoying.

Very quiet, nice air circulation, nice aesthetics. This is a replacement unit so I use the feature of constant fan run at reduced speed to help keep the downstairs (basement) at a more comfortable temperature. Before in the winter it was cold downstairs. Not any more. This feature works great and you can actually sit comfortably in basement without an auxiliary heat source or blanket.

The performance of this unit is very good, quiet,and keeps us nice and warm. Security Heating and Air Conditioning work very hard to get us back to being comfortable in a short period of time. Carrier is represented very well by this company.

1. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.

This furnace does not comply with SCAQMD Rule 1111 or SJVAPCD Rule 4905, which places a NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J. Therefore, this unit is not eligible to be installed in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) nor the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD).
