Very disappointed infinity thermostat

Can?t really comment on heat as only running AC, however, dissatisfied with entire system due to the thermostat. The infinity System required the infinity thermostat. Thermostat has sever hidden features that allows it to override user schedule such as auto rise to temp and advanced smart set back. A lot of wasted time and money to figure out and fix. Also, thermostat shows frequent lost connection to Carrier server. iPhone application by Carrier to control HVAC won?t work when thermostat loses connection and resetting of thermostat required from home. Wouldn?t have bought top of the line infinity system if I had known these limitations.

The furnace and A/C installation was done at the end of June during a heat wave. The heating element of the furnace has no been tested. Running A/C only at this time

1. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
2. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Lifetime heat exchanger parts limited warranty period is 20 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a lifetime heat exchanger parts limited warranty. See warranty certificate for details.
This furnace does not comply with SCAQMD Rule 1111 or SJVAPCD Rule 4905, which places a NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J. Therefore, this unit is not eligible to be installed in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) nor the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD).
