Replaced an earlier high efficiency Carrier where the heat exchanger was starting to rust. Carrier was offering a buy back promotion to ease the pain. WOW. Talk about quiet. Just amazing. I can now watch my TV at a much lower volume setting \- like a normal person \- not one who's hearing is failing. I run the fan constantly on low and my house is much more even temperature. It is a tri\-level , notorious for the lower level being cold. This makes absolutely no sense to me as I did that with my old furnace. I can only guess that the furnace cycles on and I can't hear it like the old one.

1. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
2. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Lifetime heat exchanger parts limited warranty period is 20 years if not registered within 90 days. This furnace does not comply with SCAQMD Rule 1111 or SJVAPCD Rule 4905, which places a NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J. Therefore, this unit is not eligible to be installed in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) nor the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD).
