Replaced an old Carrier gas furnace with newer model not as happy
November 4, 2025
I replaced a 13 year old broken Carrier furnace with this newer model same efficiency rating. This new one is much noisier than my old one and sometimes wakes me up when it starts up. The company that installed it claims it is operating as designed. The warranty period is also much shorter than I had before. I am not happy about the noise level and I don’t know if this will last as long as old one.
