I purchased this with the idea that I would have much less dust in the house. It is an improvement over the 4\-inch filter we replaced. Blower is on a continuous cycle with medium fan speed. Has helped some but not to the degree I had hoped. Somewhat disappointed.

I would love to give this a 5 out of 5. It certainly is deserving of high praise. I pause and refrain from doing to for one reason. That of course being lack of access to replacement filters. Although these filters last longer than what's available at your local big box store, these filters are extremely difficult to source direct to consumer. I find myself in a situation buying into a solution that does not allow me to replace consumable parts, such as a filter, myself. Instead, I am required to pay my local HVAC Co. to replace a simple filter at a cost. This just adds insult to injury for something this expensive.

This is an expensive filter that hasn't done much to reduce the dust in my house. 4 months in and filter is dirty. The filters are a very odd size and hard to find. They cost 200$ CAD each to replace. Think twice about buying this, I felt I was sold this under false pretenses on what it can do. I really regret this purchase. Also, it's finicky and doesn't work well. It stays on even when the furnace is off, even the installer came to fix that the issue came back.

MERV is a filter efficiency standard ranging from 1 to 16 (higher MERV = higher efficiency). The Infinity air purifier achieves a MERV 15 rating based on third-party testing (2012) showing 95% of particles size 1.0 to 3.0 microns captured and 85% of particles size 0.3 to 1.0 microns captured.
To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
