Overview
The Carrier 40VM900008 24V Interface allows conventional 24VAC thermostats to operate Carrier VRF indoor units. By translating standard heating, cooling, and fan signals into VRF system commands, it provides a practical integration option for projects requiring traditional thermostat control while maintaining VRF performance.
Features
The interface converts heat, cool, and fan commands into VRF-compatible communication over the system bus. This ensures dependable operation while preserving intended indoor unit response and system logic.
Designed for one-to-one connection, each interface serves a single indoor unit for straightforward configuration and serviceability. Powered by a field-supplied 24VAC source, it installs easily in a standard junction box for indoor applications.
The 24V Interface for Carrier VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems allows a standard 24VAC thermostat to control VRF indoor units.
