But just as important, we can safely forecast a pattern of fresher, healthier air for years to come. And we predict you'll be able to control all the elements—whether you're at home or half a world away.
Perhaps best of all, we're calling for lower utility bills for the forseeable future.
That's what life is like in the world of Carrier® comfort. You don't need a passport to get to an ideal climate like this—just a complete Carrier heating and cooling system. We invite you to explore what's possible.
While we have products for every budget, the comfort, quiet and efficiency you can enjoy with Infinity units together with our indoor air quality products is peerless.
Keep dryness at bay in the winter. A humidifier not only helps you feel better, it can save you money because your house can be more comfortable feeling at cooler temperatures. And it helps protect your wood furniture and floors from drying out.
We hope you like nice, long, comfortable relationships. After all, our products are made to last. Fact is, most are covered by a 10-year parts* limited warranty upon timely registration. And to make sure things stay fresh, your Infinity® Touch control will even tell you when it's time to change the filter.
* To the original owner, when product is used in an owner-occupied residence, a 10-year parts limited warranty upon timely registration of your new equipment. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days of installation. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty. See warranty certificate for complete details.
Control the look of your control. There are infinite ways to customize the appearance of your Infinity® Touch control, from the color of the faceplate to whatever photo you choose to upload and display.
You can independently manage comfort levels in up to 8 zones of your home so every room is just right.
Sometimes saving money starts with knowing when and where you're spending it. The Infinity® Touch control offers an energy-tracking feature so you can view your use right at the control or, with the wi-fi enabled unit, via your computer, tablet device or smartphone.
When an Infinity® Touch control is installed as part of a complete Infinity system, remarkable things happen. The control uses what it knows about indoor and outdoor temperature trends to slow or speed up the system to maintain temperature settings more consistently which also happens to save you money. Take it up a notch using Infinity products with Greenspeed® intelligence. They can take temperature control and energy savings go to a whole new level.
Efficiency is just one way to save money on your energy bills. With an Infinity® Touch control you can also save with features like Touch'n'Go® programming and advanced smart setback where the control actively gauges indoor and outdoor conditions to determine the best way to save energy dollars but still have your home the perfect temperature when you return.
Get out of a sticky situation this summer with one of our Infinity® 2-stage air conditioners or variable-speed or 2-stage heat pumps. They're designed to work with the Infinity Touch control and an Infinity indoor unit with a variable-speed blower motor to allow your air conditioner or heat pump to run longer at lower speeds removing more humidity from the air and money from your energy bill.
Take a quiet afternoon nap in the shade or listen to the kids playing, not the hum of your outdoor unit in the summer. Our outdoor units with variable-speed or 2-stage technology are designed to minimize sound so you can hear more important things.
Coolant may be necessary for treating the air in your home, but it isn't always great for the ozone layer. To help, we pioneered systems with Puron® refrigerant. This non-ozone depleting coolant is something you can feel good about on many levels.
Crank up the AC. Lower the humidity. Modify temperatures zone by zone. With the wi-fi enabled Touch control and the MyInfinityTM app you can control any aspect of your system from anywhere in the world. Over the Internet or through your smart phone or tablet device, this clever tool is designed to look and function exactly like the touchscreen display you have on your control at home. Let the micromanaging begin!
The Infinity® Touch control is designed to help you use less energy in many ways. It's compatible with utility curtailment programs offered by local energy providers. This helps you save money and potentially benefits your whole community by lessening your energy use during peak demand periods.
At Carrier, we make efficient cooling systems to fit any home and every budget. And if you're not sure which one is just right for you, your local Carrier® expert would be happy to make a recommendation.
A split system usually consists of a furnace or fan coil inside your home, plus a cooling unit that sits in your yard. This can be an air conditioner or a heat pump which, despite the name, both cools and heats your home.
Traditional heat pumps do the same thing as air conditioners but in winter, they do it in reverse, drawing their heat energy from outside air. Geothermal heat pumps don't have to rely on the potentially wide temperature swings of outdoor air. All year long they tap directly into the relatively consistent temperature of your yard, pond or well. It's a super-efficient way to cool and heat your home, no matter how extreme the weather gets.
Packaged systems combine multiple components into a single unit that sits outside your home. A packaged system can be an air conditioner/fan coil combination all the way up to a Hybrid Heat® system combining a heat pump, furnace and evaporator coil all into one unit.
A heat pump cools and heats using electricity. If you have mild winters where you live, a high-efficiency heat pump and fan coil may be all you need. In colder climates, you can pair a heat pump with a gas furnace to take advantage of Hybrid Heat® system energy savings in winter. It uses the cost-effective, electric heat pump to heat during milder weather and reserves the use of a gas or oil furnace only for when it gets really cold outside.
The ultimate Hybrid Heat system uses an Infinity® heat pump and gas furnace with Greenspeed® intelligence. These remarkable products can match their output to just what your home needs to use less energy and fill your home with greater comfort, even temperatures and the highest level of humidity control.
Comfortable air is important. Of course, healthy air is essential, too. So you'll probably breathe easier knowing we offer all the innovative air-quality products you need. So you will understand all the potential components a Carrier® system can include, let's go beyond the outdoor units and behind the door of your basement, attic, garage or crawl space to see what the rest of the system is about.

An air purifier with long-lasting, easy-to-replace filters works silently right in line with your ductwork, using Captures and Kills™ technology to purify the air throughout your home. It filters out up to 95% of particles as small as .30 microns. Better yet, it kills or inactivates up to 99% of everything it captures to keep your air healthier.
While your cooling system is hard at work producing refreshing air, it can also create water condensation. And a little moisture on your indoor coil can turn into a breeding ground for mold and bacteria. Our germicidal ultraviolet (UV) light is designed to kill these organisms to protect your system's efficiency-and your health.
No one likes too much humidity. But too little can be just as irritating, especially in winter. When humidity drops too low, you might notice sore throats, chapped lips, itchy skin and sinus problems. To help, we offer a variety of products designed to keep your home at a comfortable humidity—and everyone in it feeling great.
You don't have to go outside to get some fresh air. Not only do our ventilators work quietly and efficiently to bring air into your home all year long, they pre-condition the incoming air to better match the inside temperature, helping keep valuable energy from escaping.
This is the part of the system that converts refrigerant from your outdoor unit so it can cool or, when a heat pump is outside,—cool and heat your home. An evaporator coil borrows the fan from the furnace it sits on to move air through the home. A fan coil can do both jobs and is used when a furnace is not present. Not the most glamorous part of the system, but in either case, making sure you have a properly matched coil component can ensure you get the efficiency you paid for from your outdoor unit.
Most central heating and cooling systems are called forced-air systems. That's because they rely on a system of vents and ductwork to carry treated air from the coil or furnace to the rest of your home and back again.
Talk about smart. Infinity® products are part of what's known as a communicating system. That means that the main components, such as an air conditioner or furnace, talk to the control so you can enjoy better energy management, a higher degree of comfort and better temperature control. The system is even designed to talk with you, too, and alert you when service is needed.
There's a benefit to keeping your air flowing even when the system isn't actively heating or cooling. Hot and cool spots are minimized and air quality products like an air purifier can do its job 24/7. Not all controls give you choices for how you like your airflow. The built-in intelligence behind our Infinity® control allows you to choose the fan speed you like while operating in "constant ON" fan mode.
We have exceedingly high standards for all of our products. And the same goes for the specialists who install and maintain them. Your Carrier® expert knows heating and cooling inside and out—and will be happy to provide information so you can make the best decisions for your home, your budget and your family.
Just because your basement is on the bottom level of your house doesn't mean it's at the bottom of your priority list. It's important to be as comfortable there as anywhere else in the house. After all, basements are home to game rooms, man caves, home gyms and even spas. An Infinity® zoned system lets you independently manage comfort settings in up to 8 zones—including your basement.
Breathe fresh outdoor air without opening windows. A ventilator can bring in fresh air and expel the air normally trapped in your home that can harbor odors and gases. It can also pretreat the entering air to bring it closer to your inside temperature to help keep valuable energy from escaping.
Protect your family from carbon monoxide. This colorless, tasteless, odorless and highly toxic gas causes an estimated 15,000 emergency room visits and 500 unintentional deaths in the U.S. each year1. The good news is, reducing the danger to your family could be as simple as installing a carbon monoxide alarm.
You have more things on your mind than managing the temperature of your home. This intelligent system doesn't. The Infinity® control remembers the last 10 cycles so it knows what is needed to heat the home and do it more consistently in lower fire states to keep temperatures even and minimize energy use.
We think this is a pretty important thing for keeping you comfy so many of our Performance™ series gas furnaces also offer this using our Comfort Heat Technology® feature built right into the furnace.
Some like to sleep under a mountain of covers. Others prefer just a sheet. If that sounds familiar, we have the control of your dreams. If you have a zoned ductwork system, the Infinity® Touch control lets you independently manage comfort settings in up to 8 zones. Cool in one room, sweltering in the next, everyone in your family wins—and everyone sleeps better.
