Tight quarters in stairwell from top floor to rooftop, large/wide old replaced unit was to be broken down in smaller parts to carry down and remove. There was damage to the stairwell; did not observe the teardown or carry down so don't know if it was adequate or not possible to tear down enough to avoid damage.
