Sloppy maintenance but rapid response
Our compressor of only nine years of age blew up over the weekend. The Webster rep blamed it on dirty coils, which had not been properly maintained. For all those nine years however we had a silver maintenance contract with Webster. Although it does not include the cleaning of the coil, we were never advised after the six\-monthly inspections, that they were dirty. When we raised this issue, we did not receive a good answer….. But Webster was quick to supply a new airco unit, we were only three days without cooling, and the two reps who installed it, were friendly and appeared competent. We did not have the time to shop around, so I expect we paid more than average. Now let's hope their follow\-up maintenance gets better.
