Leak was not until Carrier and I requested a second visit
On Munn's first visit they put in three pounds of refrigerant, but said they did not find a leak. We called and told them we had called Carrier for a case number, as we wanted to make sure we were covered as it was almost time for our warranty to expire. Dianne said they would call Munn's. They came out the second visit and found a leaking evaporator coil. They returned 7.16.19 and replaced the coil and filter dryer. My question now is, can we be sure this was the only thing wrong as they did NOT find a leak in the first place. If the air conditioner needs more refrigerant during the next annual service, this definitely means they did not repair the problem that occurred during our warranty period. Munn's is always nice and respectful, but we will not know if the AC has been fixed until it is checked for refrigerant, or if there was somethings else wrong at the time. If we need refrigerant during our next inspection, or if something else occurs during this time, that wasn't caught, you and Munn's should be responsible as this problem was detected before the warranty expired.
