did not properly seal the duct work or the units, failed to install all purchased equipment, undersized cold air return, wrong thermostat for system and incorrectly set\-up, when service tech came he smelled of marijuana and left the house with insulation all over below the access and trailed it out of the house

Service is technician dependent, as I had the fall maintenance done on my system several months ago and was told "all was well" even though my power bill had nearly doubled. Several months later I got a call from my power company warning that my power consumption indicated something was wrong. I called Southern Comfort again, and a different technician came out. He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave us the options. The next day the crew came out and installed a new unit in 1/2 a day! So, the 1st technician did not check the refrigerant level or would have found the problem; the 2nd was great, and based on the service the 2nd time around I would definitely recommend this company.
