The 50BVT indoor water-cooled packaged units are designed for vertical installation, a variety of airflow configurations, and cooling only operation. The modularity of these units provides a versatile and economical approach to comfort conditioning requirements in re-fit and newbuild applications.
Performance Features
- Capacities of 30, 40, 50, and 60 tons.
- EER of up to 14.6.
- ASHRAE 90.1 compliant.
- Variety of drive and motor options for low and medium static pressure applications.
- Cleanable shell-and-tube condensers with copper tubes (freshwater) or 90/10 Cu/Ni tubes (seawater).
- Two (size 034) or four (sizes 044 to 064) electronically and mechanically independent refrigerant circuits.
- Supply fan housing and wheels designed for quiet, low-velocity operation.
- Direct expansion evaporator coil.
- One or two forward-curved, high pressure Class II fan assemblies.
- Fully insulated, unpainted, galvanized steel cabinet (optional epoxy topcoat available).
- Compressors mounted on rubber grommets.
Reliability Features
- Crankcase heater.
- Scroll compressors.
- TXV refrigerant metering device.
- Compressors with high and low pressure cut outs and overtemperature protection.
- Safely operates without water regulating valves with entering-water temperature as low as 50° F.
- Choice of copper or cupronickel inner condenser water tubes.
- Factory wired and tested before shipment.
- Tested in accordance with UL Standard 1995 and listed with UL and UL, Canada.
Maintenance Features
- 1-in., 30% efficiency, return-air filters.
- Insulated divider panel between air-handling and compressor sections for service testing without air bypass.
- All service can be done through removable panels.
- No tools required to change filters.
Installation Features
- Shipped with R-410A.
- Available in Highboy or Lowboy modular construction to meet demanding installations.
- Flanges provided on condenser and evaporator inlet and outlet.
- Single point electrical connection.
