The Carrier Training center was set up to perfect the skills of technicians and installers which in turn, optimizes the operation of installations. We offer a choice of training courses, each with a different focus:

Optimized premises

With 650 m2 dedicated solely to training, our premises provide plenty of space for us to host your staff:

  • 450 m2 of technical platforms featuring fully operational equipment to enable practical applications to be carried out, including operating readings, optimization of settings and maintenance, and fault finding
  • 3 multimedia rooms for theory classes
  • Several technical platforms grouped thematically (tertiary, industry, residential, fluid handling, etc.) for practical tasks

Experienced trainers

To meet your exacting requirements, our training is provided by two dedicated trainers. Both have more than 25 years of experience within the company, holding key positions in marketing, the design and monitoring of installations, the development of HVAC engineering installations, and even maintenance. In addition to these two highly skilled trainers, experts from inside and outside the Carrier group, all specialists in their domains, regularly come to pass on their knowledge and demonstrate their expertise.

Air conditioning & Heat pump (PAC)

PAC 01
Introductory course on tertiary and industrial refrigerating equipment and heat pumps: technology used in the components, system start-up and maintenance procedure.
PAC 02
Advanced course on tertiary and industrial chillers and heat pumps: review of knowledge on technologies and new fluids, maintenance and fault repair.
PAC 03
Course on residential heat pumps: thermodynamic cycle, selecting the right heat pump, good installation practices, air source and ground source system start-up and maintenance.

Regulations

F-GAZ01
Short preparation for the certification for experienced refrigeration engineers.
F-GAZ02
Long preparation for the certification for engineers occasionally working in refrigeration.
F-GAZ-EVAL
1/2 day examination for the refrigerant fluid handling certification.

Air handling Unit (AHU)

CTA01
Introductory course on the functions of AHU components, system start-up and maintenance.
CTA02
Aeraulics course; air flow measurements, ductwork, psychrometric chart diagram.
CTA03
Course studying the functions of AHU components, system start-up, maintenance of AHUs and air flow measurements (combines the CTA01 & CTA02 courses).

Split system & Multi-split

SPLIT01
Course on the selection, installation, system start-up and maintenance of Split and Multi-split units.

Installation environment

Hydraulics course - basic concepts.

Hydraulics, aeraulics & control systems.

Product training

PROD-PAC1
Product course: studying the selection, installation, maintenance and use of the control system in the residential heat pump sector.
