Moss Kirkeparken ice rink is Carrier’s first-ever turnkey CO2 sport venue installation. The turnkey solution included the delivery of CO2 rack units, emergency ventilation, sound and lighting installation, as well as heat recovery. It also included excavation work, welding, and piping for heating and cooling. The ice rink installation covers an area of 1,200 square meters and took approximately four months to complete.

Moss Kirkeparken ice rink officially opened on December 3, 2017, with an inauguration ceremony led by Cecilie Kildahl, Environmental Counselor, Moss Kommune. There were several hundred guests in attendance. The facility is open 24 hours a day.
