It addresses the topics of: Human Comfort, The Air Cycle, Refrigeration Cycle, The Heat Pump and Air Conditioning Equipment. This training is self-paced and contains a skill check at the end of each section and final exam, each with reference to the appropriate section of the training, allowing students to evaluate their understanding of the concepts presented.

To receive FAD credit you must pass the final exam.

  • Identify difference in a heat pump system and an air conditioning system
  • Select equipment types used in residential systems
  • Select equipment types and applications of commercial systems

Completion Requirements

To receive a certificate for this course student must receive a grade of 70% on the final exam. Once you complete the exam you will be able to print a certificate.
